The fifth run for the Rotax Max Challenge Switzerland was very close. Tight overtakes, narrow wins and focused drivers – all of that could be found on the race track in Lévier.
After a first dry test day, the warm-up session on Sunday morning was run in wet conditions. During qualifying the track was almost dry.
It did not turn out as planned and we were not as fast as expected. We only made P7. It did not look very promising for race 1. We decided to attack fast and we made our way through the field very quickly. I made P2 in the end. A great result and I am very proud. I also finished race 2 and the final with P2 and I received many important points for the championship. Many thanks to my Spirit Karting Team and to my mechanic JP for his fantastic support during the whole weekend. I could reinforce my second place in the championship. One more race on October 10th in Wohlen. Keep your fingers crossed!
