FIRST VICTORIES OF THE SEASON ON VESOUL’S HIGH-SPEED TRACK

The fourth round of the Swiss Rotax Max Championship took place in Vesoul, France. I am happy with my results and with my speed during the whole weekend.

I concentrated strongly on a quick lap during my qualifying performance and I was able to make the quickest time and catch the pole position for the first race. This gave me a great starting position for the first round. I made use of this advantage and secured P1 in race 1.

Race 2 was equally successful and I maintained my leading position from the start to the finish line. Those two wins gave me the pole position for the final. Due to engine problems I had to give up my leading position during the race, but I was able to secure P3 – a great success.

With that good result we have surely made great progress during the season. I am now 2^nd in the championship. The next race will be in Levier, France on September 13^th. I can’t wait.
