Rotax World Finals 2015 in Portimao

The last race event of the season took place in Portimao, in the south of Portugal. 272 drivers from over 50 different countries competed. I was part of team Switzerland. The competition was very tough and a driver must always have a bit of luck in the qualifying heats before the final. I did very well and was on-course for the qualification into the final. Unfortunately I had a crash in the last heat and it wasn’t possible anymore. Overall, I claimed 37th position, out of 72 in the DD2 class. Not so bad, considering it was a world championship. My karting is now completed and I will change over in 2016 to drive in the Formula 4 season.
