Yannik looking forward to Red Bull Ring

Second half of Formula 4 season starts in Austria

Summer break finally ends with the upcoming event (22.-24.7.) at Red Bull Ring in Austria. The young drivers are looking forward to challenge each other in the second half of the ADAC Formula 4 season – one of them is Yannik Brandt, who has big plans for the weekend at Steiermark. The ambitious driver from Germany aims to secure his first points in the championship.

After having passed a turbulent first season-half within a great amount of up´s and down´s, Brandt finally underscores his qualities in the last race before the summer break at Oschersleben. Yannik Brandt, German by origin, Swiss by choice finishes 12th place and now wants to take the next step. “It was a close battle for 10th place. Now I feel prepared to reach it“, he claims.

“I was really unlucky during the first races of the season. But together with my team we never stopped working and tried to find more and more solutions for our challenges. At Oschersleben we finally get a little pay-back“, he smiles. For the next event on the 4.326 meter long circuit in Austria, a top-ten position is the clear goal: “I feel well with the track and know how to face it. Because of my Lechner Racing Team, which is also placed at Austria, I have been there a couple of times before to practice.“

Yannik already made out the key of success for the weekend: “The qualifying is very important. The races depend definitely on the existing situation.“ The three finals will be shown at TV and on the internet. The sports channel Sport 1 and Sport 1 + will broadcast the event and also are responsible for the live-stream on www.sport1.de.

The first race on saturday starts at 14:45 and the following ones will begin on sunday at 9:50 and 13:45. Yannik Brandt from Lechner Racing will give his best to show once again the power of his team.
